Thursday, September 21st, 2006

Team History Chanel / EPMartin completes Racing the Planets Sahara race. A self-supported foot race across 150 miles (250 kilometers) of the Sahara Desert in Egypt. Mike Prstojevich (co-founder of EPMartin) along with team mates Hunter Ellis (of The History Channel) and Danny Moy (Professional Adventure Racer) took on this challenge in September 2006 finishing 16th overall. Although Danny had to drop out after injuring his foot and ankle the team pulled and towed him along until it was not possible for Danny to continue. Mike and Hunter continued on to the finish where Danny was reunited and crossed the finish line together as a team. You can learn more about the race from Hunter himself at http://racingtheplanet.tv/blogsahara/index.php?ids=14&dn=hunter
